Now is the perfect time to study abroad while you are young, energetic and wanting to learn the English language AND see another country and its culture!
Besides, improving your English language skills, participating in an ELO’s Summer English Immersion Programme will introduce participants to culture from around the world and open minds. ELO’s Summer English Immersion Programmes are more than just an interactive language class but also includes visiting various cultural and leisure activities to have fun and practice specific event vocabulary as learned in class
Programe Including
Students are typically in class from 9:00 am until 2:30 pm with a break and lunch. In short, students will receive 3.5 - 4.5 hours of instruction in class each week day for about 40 hours of quality instruction time for the whole programme.
Students will be engaged in fun learning through small-group work, role play, critical and creative thinking, etc. right in the lessons. In addition, there will be ample opportunity to engage in team-building and leadership activities.
Students will spend each afternoon enjoying various cultural/leisure venues throughout the area of our programme. You will get a chance to live as the local people do and take in all the area has to offer.
Most of our programmes utilise the fantastic experience of living with a host family. Host families provide even more opportunities for students to practice their English. In regards to dormitory accommodations, such accommodations are indeed available in select locations.
